Dhaka: The 10th edition of Leathertech Bangladesh-2024 kicked off today at the International Convention City, Bashundhara (ICCB). Nearly 200 exhibitors from 20 countries are showcasing their products at the three-day event, which has gained prominence over the years as a preferred platform for exploring the local leather, footwear, and travel goods sectors. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Shah Mohammad Mahboob, Executive Member of the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), attended the opening ceremony as the chief guest. The event is organized by Leathertech Bangladesh, an industry networking forum that was established a decade ago. The expo serves as a platform for technology leaders to present their latest product offerings. The press release mentioned that visiting the expo provides attendees with the opportunity to witness emerging technology in action and discover new innovations aimed at improving productivity, quality, diversity, and efficiency.
