Dhaka: Bangladesh Air Force Women's Welfare Association (BAFWWA) today distributed winter clothes, specifically blankets, to assist the poor and cold-stricken individuals. The initiative was spearheaded by Saleha Khan, the President of BAFWWA and Others Women and Children Club (OWCC), as part of the organization's annual humanitarian efforts. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the distribution program was launched with a press release from the Inter-Serviced Public Relations (ISPR). BAFWWA has been conducting these service activities annually, aiming to provide much-needed relief to those affected by harsh winter conditions around various Air Force bases and neighboring regions. The event saw participation from all members of the Central BAFWWA, including the Vice-Presidents of the Central Council, highlighting the collective effort put into the program. The distribution of blankets is set to continue in phases, with deliveries managed through regional and sub-regional branches of BAFWA in Kurmitola and Tejgaon areas of Dhaka. The assistance will also reach other parts of the country, including Chattogram, Jashore, Tangail, Bogura, Lalmonirhat, Moulvibazar, Shamshernagar, Barisal, and Cox's Bazar.
