Durgapur: A daylong medical camp was held for providing free treatment to flood-affected people at Bhadua Model High School ground in Bhadua area under Gaokandia union of Durgapur upazila here today. Gaokandia union BNP and its front organisations in cooperation with Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB), Mymensingh district unit arranged the medical camp for providing health care services to the flood victims, the organisers said. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the event was inaugurated by Law Affairs Secretary of BNP central committee and President of Jatiyatabadi Lawyers Forum Barrister Kaisar Kamal, who attended as the chief guest. The medical camp consisted of a team of 30 physicians from the DAB Mymensingh unit. These medical professionals provided necessary medical support and distributed free medicine to approximately 2,000 flood-hit individuals in the Durgapur upazila. The camp was attended by Netrakona District and Durgapur upazila-level BNP leaders, who were present to oversee the pr oceedings and ensure effective delivery of medical services to the affected communities.
