BKSP Honors Five Footballers for SAFF Triumph.

Dhaka: Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothistan (BKSP) today held a celebratory reception on its campus for five of its players who were part of the victorious Bangladesh national women’s football team that clinched the SAFF Championship title. The team secured the championship for the second time in a row by defeating Nepal 2-1 in the final match held on October 30.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the players honored at the event were Swapna Rani, Afeida Khandaker, Rituporna Chakma, Shaheda Akter Ripa, and Sagorika. Each of these athletes played a crucial role in securing the SAFF title for Bangladesh and were rewarded for their outstanding performance.

As part of the recognition, each player received a cheque for twenty-five thousand. The newly elected president of the Bangladesh Football Federation, Tabith Awal, presented the cheques as the chief guest at the ceremony.

The event was also attended by BKSP Director General Brigadier General Md Munirul Islam, who was present to honor the achievements
of the players and support their continued success in the sport.
