Police Working at Its Height After July-August Revolution: Jahangir.

Dhaka: Home Affairs Adviser Lt. Gen. Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury (Retd.) has stated that the police force has been operating at full capacity following the July-August revolution. He emphasized this point while serving as the chief guest at a special welfare meeting after visiting the Armed Police Battalion (APBn) headquarters today. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Home Adviser urged the APBn personnel to carry out their responsibilities with dignity and professionalism. He highlighted the specialized training that APBn personnel receive and acknowledged their dedicated efforts in managing security for VVIPs at both international and local airports, as well as for mega projects. "So, perform your duties with professionalism," he stated. The meeting was presided over by APBn Additional Inspector General of Police Md Abdullah Al Mahmud. During his visit to the APBn headquarters, the Home Adviser also inspected the Crisis Response Team (CRT) and the Canine Unit, appreciating the efforts made by t hese units in maintaining security and order.
