Munshiganj: A big Indian python has been rescued from a fisherman’s net in Gazaria upazila of the district early today. The python was found in a wetland behind Miajibari in Puran Baushia Dakhinpara area under the upazila. Local people managed to put the snake safely in a sack and reported the incident to forest officials later. People flocked at Miajibari to see the python after spreading the news on Facebook.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the discovery of the python has sparked significant interest among the local community, with many residents gathering at the site to catch a glimpse of the large reptile. The incident has highlighted the presence of wildlife in the region and the importance of local involvement in wildlife conservation efforts.
