Dhaka: Former lawmaker Shamsuzzaman Dudu has been elected as the convener, while ATM Abdul Bari Dani has taken the position of member secretary for the Dhaka University Alumni Association (DUAA), according to a press release issued today. The announcement marks a significant development following the resignation of the previous committee after the changeover on August 5. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the recent developments began with a meeting held by life members of DUAA on August 30. During this meeting, a four-member committee was established with the task of forming a complete convening committee for DUAA. This committee has now successfully announced a 35-member full convening committee, as stated in the press release. The newly formed committee is expected to lead the association with the aim of enhancing the engagement and contributions of the alumni of Dhaka University.
