Touhid Led Bangladesh Delegation at Summit in Riyadh.

Riyadh: Foreign adviser Md Touhid Hossain has led the Bangladesh delegation at the "Preparatory Meeting of Foreign Ministers for the Extraordinary Arab and Islamic" Summit held in Riyadh. Foreign Ministers and senior officials from all the OIC member states participated in the Ministerial session, said a foreign ministry's press release. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the session opened with remarks from Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, the Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia. The gathering also featured speeches from the Secretary Generals of the Organization of Islamic States and League of Arab States, as well as the Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the state of Palestine, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Lebanese Republic. The Ministerial session focused on examining the ongoing Israeli aggression on Palestine and Lebanon, discussing its repercussions on the region, and highlighting actions to be taken in response. A draft resolution was submitted to t he Extraordinary Arab and Islamic Summit for further deliberation. In addition to his participation in the summit, Touhid visited the Bangladesh Embassy in Riyadh, exchanging views with embassy officials. His delegation, consisting of five members, arrived in Riyadh on November 9.
