Seeds, Fertilizers Distributed Among Farmers in Panchagarh.

Panchagarh: Free seeds and fertilizers were distributed among 7,700 marginal farmers in Debiganj upazila of Panchagarh district under the Agricultural Incentive Program for the fiscal year 2024-25 to boost the cultivation of Rabi crops. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the upazila agriculture department organized the distribution program on Monday morning at the Agriculture office hall room. The event was attended by Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Turab Hossein as the chief guest. Other notable attendees included Upazila Agriculture Officer Md Nayim Morshed, Additional Krishi Officer Zinat Ara, and Fishery Officer Raton Kumar Barmon. During the event, 4,000 farmers received mustard seeds and necessary fertilizers for one bigha of land. Additionally, about 1,600 farmers were provided with maize seeds, 1,400 with nut seeds, 600 with wheat seeds, and 100 with onion seeds along with the required fertilizers for one bigha of land.
