Rangamati Hills District Interim Parishad Takes Charges Successfully.

Rangamati: The reconstituted Rangamati Hills District Interim Parishad has taken charge today. The newly formed parishad chairman, Kazal Talukder, along with 14 other members, assumed their roles formally at 9:30 am.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the event was attended by Rangamati Hill District Parishad chief executive officer Khandakar Muhammad Rezaul Karim, executive officer Nuruddin Md Shibli Noman, and executive engineer Biral Barua, among others. Upon taking charge, Kazal Talukder emphasized the importance of prioritizing education, health, agriculture, and tourism sectors in the hilly regions.

He also paid tribute to those who lost their lives in the student-people anti-discrimination movement. The other members of the Parishad include Deb Prashad Dewan from Baghaichari upazila, Pranati Ranjan Khisha from Naniarchar upazila, Pratul Chanda Dewan, Nai U Pru Marma, Rangabi Tanchagya, Sagarika Roaza, Md Habib Azam, Baishali Chakma, Lutfunnessa Begum, and Barun Bikash Dewan from Rangamati Sada
