Dinajpur: A day-long free eye camp was held on the premises of the Ghughudanga High School under Sadar upazila of the district today. Gausul Azam BNSB Eye Hospital and Moin Uddin Ahmed Chowdhury Smriti Foundation jointly organized the eye camp. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the camp was inaugurated by Shah E. Mobin Jinnah, Managing Director of the Community Development Association (CDA), who served as the chief guest. The event was chaired by Dr. Chowdhury Mosaddekul Izdani. The function was also addressed by special guests including Alhaj Azgar Uddin Ahmed Chowdhury, Alhaj Farooq Ahmed Chowdhury, Dr. Wahida Begum, Consultant of Gausul Azam BNSB Eye Hospital, Alhajj Md. Abdul Mannan Chowdhury, Alhajj Oheduzzaman Chowdhury, and Mohammad Ali Jinnah. A total of 500 patients received health care and medicines, including eye examinations, prescriptions, and other facilities. Additionally, 87 patients underwent cataract surgery at the camp free of charge.
