Kushtia: A delegation from Amra BNP Paribar today met with family members and relatives of the martyrs and injured from the July uprising in the Kushtia and Chuadanga districts. The visits were conducted at the 'Disha Tower' in Kushtia town and later at Shankarchandra Union in Chuadanga, following directives from Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Acting Chairman and Chief Patron of Amra BNP Paribar, Tarique Rahman. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Atiqur Rahman Rumon, the Convener of 'Amra BNP Paribar' and a member of the BNP media cell, conveyed messages of empathy and provided financial assistance to the families on behalf of Tarique Rahman. Under Tarique Rahman's instructions, Amra BNP Paribar has supported around 300 families affected by the July movement. During the view-exchange meeting, Atiqur Rahman Rumon stated, "We stood by the injured. We have taken many of the critically injured to Dhaka for better treatment, giving priority to those who have lost their eyes. So far, we have ensured tr eatment and medicine for more than 150 injured people in nearby hospitals, including Dhaka." He also mentioned that there are families who have not spoken about their martyred or injured members, but efforts are ongoing to locate and assist them in Dhaka and other cities. Rumon added that the delegation from Amra BNP Paribar plans to visit relatives of the martyred and injured families in every district, continuing their support in phases. The view-exchange meeting in Kushtia was attended by Kushtia District BNP Convener Kutub Uddin Ahmed, Member Secretary Zakir Hossain Sarkar, BNP Executive Committee members Barrister Ragib Rauf Chowdhury and Farida Yasmin, and Kushtia district BNP Senior Joint Convener Reza Ahmed Bachchu Molla. In Chuadanga, the meeting was graced by the presence of BNP Deputy Treasurer and Chuadanga District BNP Convener Md Mahmudul Hasan Khan Babu as the chief guest. Other attendees included 'Amra BNP Paribar' Member Secretary Agriculturist Moksedul Momin Mithun, members Masud Rana Lito n, Mustakim Billah, Farhad Ali Sajib, Shahadat Hossain, Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal central committee Vice-President Habibul Bashar, Joint Secretary Hasnain Nahiyan Sajib, Chhatra Dal's Private University Unit Joint General Secretary Moshiur Rahman Mohan, and Dhaka College unit Literary and Publication Secretary Abdullah Al Misbah. Family members of 15 martyrs from Kushtia and one martyr and one injured person from Chuadanga participated in the view-exchange meetings.
