Three Motorcyclists Killed in Satkhira Truck Collision.

Satkhira: Three motorcyclists were killed as their bike collided head-on with a truck on the Satkhira-Khulna highway in the Binerpota BSCIC area under Satkhira Sadar upazila here this morning.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the deceased are Arizul Gazi, 28, son of Akbar Ali Gazi from Jhikargachha upazila in Jashore district, Asadul Islam Fakir, 55, son of Shamsur Kabir from Tala upazila in Satkhira district, and Abdus Selim, 35, son of Abdul Aziz from Sujan Shah village under Tala upazila of the same district.

When the trio were heading to Patkelghata from Satkhira on a motorcycle, they collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction around 5 am, resulting in their immediate deaths at the scene, sub-inspector of Sadar Police Station Biswajit Sarkar said.

Police recovered the bodies from the accident site and sent them to Satkhira Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy, he added.
