Noakhali: A motivational meeting on online tax return filing was held at Noakhali Super Market today. The event was organized by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Taxes, Noakhali, and Taxes Zone-Cumilla, aiming to promote the ease and efficiency of filing tax returns online. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner of Taxes Enamul Hasan Al Noman. Commissioner of Taxes, Zone-Cumilla, Sheikh Md Moniruzzaman, participated as the chief guest, highlighting the significance of transitioning to online tax return processes. Additional Commissioner of Taxes Murad Ahmed presented the keynote paper, elaborating on the benefits and procedures of online filing. The event also featured Tax Commissioner Md Enamul Kabir as a special guest, alongside various advocates and businessmen. During the meeting, speakers praised the initiative of online tax return filing, emphasizing its role in streamlining tax processes and encouraging compliance among taxpayers.
