Panchthar: CPN (UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has claimed that his party will gain a majority in the next general elections and thereby run a majority government.

Addressing a mass gathering at Phidim of Panchthar district on Saturday, Oli made such claim adding that people would suffer from the government formed by the hung parliament.

Reiterating his stance to the naming of Koshi Province, Oli asked the agitating sides to seek consensus amid their differences.

On the occasion, he also expressed his dissatisfaction to the government reluctance to the development of Tamor reservoir mega hydropower project.

In his current west to east political journey, Oli is scheduled to reach Chiwabhanjyang of Panchthar tomorrow morning and hoist a national flag.
