Food Management and Trading Company to sell goats from Tuesday

Kathmandu: The Food Management and Trading Company Limited has fixed the price of he-goats and mountain goats that it is selling from Tuesday for this year’s festivals.

The Company has said that the price of alive he-goats is fixed at Rs 680 per kg and the price of mountain goat is Rs 1,260 per kg. The consumers will get discount of Rs 10 in each kilogram.

Information Officer of the Company, Sharmila Neupane, said that the goats would be sold from Company’s Bagmati Province Office at Thapathali from 8:00 in the morning.

The Company has brought the he-goats from Makawanpur, Dang and Kailali districts and mountain goats from Rasuwa in view of this year’s Dashain festival.

The Company has planned to sell 2,000 he-goats and 1,000 mountain goats in this year’s festive season.
