The Bangladesh national football team will play two
preparation matches against Afghanistan on September 4 and 7.
Vice-President of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) and national team
committee’s Chairman Kazi Nabil Ahmed, MP, today informed that the two
matches against Afghanistan would be held as part of preparation for the
World Cup pre qualifying and AFC qualifying matches.
He said the venue of the two matches will be known later stage.
After the preparation matches, Bangladesh will play against Maldives in the
first round of joint qualifiers of 2026 FIFA World Cup and 2027 Asian Cup.
