87 Apprehended in Tejgaon Division Anti-Crime Operations

Dhaka: Police have arrested 87 individuals for their alleged involvement in criminal activities during separate operations in different areas under the Tejgaon Division. The arrests were part of special operations aimed at reducing crime in the division.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the arrests were made on Tuesday, September 15, as part of a concentrated effort to target crime-prone areas within the division. The operations were conducted by various police stations within the Tejgaon Division, as detailed in a press release from the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).

The breakdown of the arrests is as follows: Tejgaon Police Station detained 24 individuals, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station apprehended 3, Mohammadpur Police Station took in 20, Adabor Police Station arrested 27, Tejgaon Industrial Area Police Station detained 3, and Hatirjheel Police Station held 10 individuals. All the arrestees have been sent to court for further legal proceedings.
