853 Students Receive Educational Materials from Rampal Thermal Power Plant

Rampal: Educational materials have been distributed among students of various educational institutions in Rampal of the district to improve the quality of education. The materials were distributed by Bangladesh-India Friendship Power Company Limited here today.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, different materials including notebooks, pens, bags, and umbrellas have been distributed among a total of 853 students of Khanjahan Ali Secondary School, Barni Chhairabad Secondary School of Gaurambha Union of the upazila, and Hurka Sitanath Secondary School of Hurka Union of Hurka under the community development initiative of BIFPCL.

BIFPCL Chief Human Resource Officer Anwarul Azim presided over the programme, and BIFPCL Chief Procurement Officer S. M. Zahid Hasan delivered the speech as the chief guest. Rampal Upazila Rural Savings Bank Branch Manager Md. Habibur Rahman, Khanjahan Ali Secondary School Board President Md. Mujibur Rahman Joarder, and Barni Chhairabad Quinton Secondary School Board President Md. Machudur Rahman Mahadi were present as special guests.

The speakers emphasized that Rampal Thermal Power Plant has consistently engaged in public welfare activities to enhance the quality of education in this coastal community, and they assured that these efforts will continue in the future. They also encouraged students to attend school regularly and focus on their studies.
