Barishal: A total of 66 dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals in the country during the past 24 hours till this morning.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during this period, 10 dengue patients were hospitalised in Barishal division, 17 in Chattogram, four in Dhaka division, 11 in Dhaka North city, and 15 in Dhaka South. Additionally, two patients were admitted in Rajshahi, two in Mymensingh, two in Rangpur, and five were admitted to different hospitals in Khulna, as stated in a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The DGHS statement also reported that the total number of dengue cases for the year has risen to 1,01,214, with 575 deaths reported from dengue disease last year.
