Dhaka: The Madrasah Education Board has announced a pass rate of 55.49 percent for this year’s Dakhil exam, which is equivalent to the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exam. Out of a total of 2,96,982 candidates who appeared for the exam, 1,64,797 students successfully passed.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, 6,716 students from the Madrasah board achieved a GPA-5, the highest grade point average possible. The results were formally announced by Education Minister Dr. A N M Ehsanul Hoque Milon at 10 am today at the Secretariat.
The board statistics indicate that candidates from 9,141 institutions participated in the Dakhil examination, which was conducted at 741 centers across the country.
