5-Member Parliament Secretariat Commission Formed with Hafiz Uddin Ahmed as Chairman

Dhaka: A five-member Parliament Secretariat Commission has been established, with Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmed, Bir Bikram, appointed as its Chairman. This formation was officially documented in a gazette notification, which was signed by Parliament Secretariat Secretary Barrister Md. Golam Sarwar Bhuiyan and released on Thursday.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the commission includes notable figures such as Prime Minister and leader of the House Tarique Rahman, leader of the Opposition Md. Shafiqur Rahman, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Md. Asaduzzaman, and Finance Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury. The establishment of the Parliament Secretariat Commission follows the guidelines set forth in Section 7 of the Jatiya Sangsad Secretariat Act, 1994, as mentioned in the notification.
