Bagerhat: The number of voters in Bagerhat district has increased by 45,963 compared to the last parliamentary elections, according to the draft final voter list published on Wednesday. The total number of voters now stands at 13,45,272, including 6,73,627 men and 6,71,633 women.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a notification signed by District Election Officer Md. Aliul Islam stated that claims and objections regarding the draft polling center list will be received until September 25. The final list is scheduled to be published on October 20. District Election Officer Aliul Islam further assured that the upcoming 13th parliamentary elections will be conducted in a free, fair, and transparent manner.
