CHATTOGRAM A Chattogram court sent detained 45 Rohingya men who fled from refugee camps in Coxs Bazar to jail today.
The court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Kamrunahar Rumi sent them to jail after Mohammad Shamim officer in charge (Investigation) of Sitakunda Thana produced them before the court as the intruders.
The 45 Rohingya men were detained from a house at Keshobpur village under Sitakunda upazila of the district on the night of October 1.
Mohammad Delwar Hossain officer in charge of Sitakunda police station said police in a drive detained these men from a rented house of one Mubarak Hossain.
They fled from the camps in Ukhiya upazila came to Sitakunda upazila and worked in a factory as day labourers OC said.
