Dhaka: Police arrested 45 people for their alleged involvement in various crimes during a regular anti-crime drive in different areas under Motijheel Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP). The arrests were made on Friday during separate drives conducted by police stations under the division, according to a DMP press release.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, of the arrested individuals, four were detained by Motijheel Police Station, nine by Paltan, three by Sabujbagh, 18 by Khilgaon, three by Rampura, and eight by Mugda police stations. Legal action has been taken against the arrestees.
