Dhaka: Police on Sunday arrested 45 people in a crime-control operation across the Motijheel division.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the arrests were made during regular raids in crime-prone areas under several police stations in the division, as part of efforts to maintain law and order and curb criminal activities.
Police arrested 2 people in Motijheel, 10 in Paltan, 3 in Sabujbagh, 11 in Khilgaon, 2 in Rampura, 9 in Shahjahanpur, and 8 in Mugda.
The arrested people were sent to court.
