4 Fined in Chattogram Dengue Prevention Drive

Chattogram: A mobile court of the Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) fined four individuals a total of Taka 35,000 during a dengue prevention drive in the city's DT Road area today. CCC Executive Magistrate Choiti Sarbabidya led the operation conducted on Wednesday (September 16). During the drive, stagnant water, serving as a breeding ground for Aedes mosquito larvae, was found in piles of tires stored on roads and rooftops at various establishments in the Mansurabad area.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, evidence was also found of shop merchandise occupying roads and footpaths, obstructing the movement of pedestrians and the public. Cases were filed against the four individuals, and a total fine of Taka 35,000 was collected.
