Chattogram: Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) arrested 30 leaders and activists of the Awami League, Jubo League, and Chhatra League from different parts of the city in the last 24 hours ended at 6 am on Sunday. They were apprehended on various charges.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the individuals were arrested on different charges, including attacking protesters during the student-led July uprising and other criminal offenses. CMP sources confirmed the arrests as part of their ongoing efforts to address unrest and maintain public order in the city.
