3 police men held in Cox’s Bazar for snatching TK 3 lakh from a woman

Three police men including a Sub Inspector have been arrested in a case filed for robbing TK three lakh from a woman from the town last night.

The police men were identified as Sub Inspector Noor Huda Siddique, Constable Aminul Momenin and Mamun Mollah.

Additional Superintendent of Police Rafiqul Islam said police dressed in plainclothes allegedly committed the crime and they must be brought to the book.
Officer-in-Charge of Cox’s Bazar Sadar Thana Sheikh Monirul Giash said a police personnel was held by the local people while snatching TK three lakh from a woman at gun point at 8 pm in the town.

Two others were held later by Sadar Thana police , the OC added.
Monirul Giash also said a case was filed under Speedy Trial Act against them.
