3 including SSC examinees killed in Manikganj road accidents

Three people including two SSC examinees were killed on Monday in separate road accidents in Manikganj.

The deceased were identified as Firoz Ahmed and Rayhan, two SSC examinee students of Nabarun High School, and Mahim, 25, son of Abdullah from Gorla Charkhand area in the Sadar upazila.

Firoz, Rayhan,and a friend were going to tution class around 8 am when their motorcycle collided with an autorickshaw coming from opposite side near Kalibari area on Hemayetpur-Manikganj regional road, said Abdur Rauf Sarkar, officer-in-charge of Manikganj sadar police station.

“Firoz died on the spot while Rayhan succumbed to his injuries on the way to Dhaka hospital. Their friend Shamim, another SSC examinee of the same school is currently admitted at National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR)in Dhaka,” said the OC.

Meanwhile, Mahim died as his motorcycle was crushed under a bus named Selfie Paribahan near Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) gate area on Dhaka-Aricha highway around 10 am, said the OC.
