Barishal: Twenty-nine dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals in the country during the past 24 hours till this morning.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during this period, 11 patients were hospitalized in Barishal division, seven in Chattogram, three in Dhaka division, three in Dhaka South, two in Khulna, and three were admitted to different hospitals in Mymensingh division, as stated in a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The total number of dengue cases this year has risen to 2,026, with 14 deaths reported due to the disease. Last year, the total number of dengue cases reached 101,214, with 575 deaths reported during the same period, as mentioned in the statement.
