Chapainawabganj district administration distributed money among 230 poor people of the district as special financial assistance for Eid-ul-Fitre.
Deputy Commissioner of Chapainawabganj AKM Galiv Khan distributed the money in a simple function arranged on the occasion at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner yesterday afternoon.
Among others, Deputy Director (Local Government) Debendranath Orao, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Ahmed Mahbub-Ul-Islam, President of Chapainawabganj Press Club Shahidul Huda Alok and other officials of the district administration were present in the function.
The DC said, as per the directives of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina the district administration distributed the money in order to remain beside the marginal people.
This is to be mentioned that each got Tk one thousand.
