Chattogram: Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) arrested 21 leaders and activists of Awami League, Jubo League, and Chhatra League from different parts of the city in the last 24 hours.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the individuals were arrested on various charges, particularly for their involvement in attacks on protesters during the Anti-discrimination Students Movement in July and August. The CMP sources highlighted the significance of these arrests in maintaining order and addressing the unrest that occurred during the protests.
