Daudkandi: Members of Detective Branch (DB) of police today arrested two men for their alleged involvement in robbery from Mohan Pump area under Daudkandi upazila of the district in the early hours of today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the police also recovered two foreign-made pistols, a country-made pipe gun, and some bullets from their possessions. The arrestees have been identified as Md Mamun, 37, from Charcharua village of Daudkandi upazila, and Md Arif, 31, from Mansurabad area of Doublemorring thana of Chattogram district.
Police stated that the individuals are active members of an inter-district robber gang, which has been involved in several criminal activities across the region. A case has been filed in this regard to proceed with legal actions against the suspects.
