Dinajpur: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 arrested two suspected drug peddlers and seized 397 bottles of contraband Phensedyl from Dainur Dakshinpara (Bochapukur) village of Kotwali police station in Dinajpur on Wednesday afternoon. “Acting on a tip-off, an operational team of Crime Prevention Company (CPC)-1 from Dinajpur Camp of RAB-13 conducted a raid in the area, seized the Phensedyl, and arrested two persons from the spot,” said a press release issued here today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the detainees were identified as Mozahar Ali, 42, of Dainur Dakshinpara (Bochapukur) village, and Md Shajahan Ali, 35, of Jamalpur Sarkuri village, both under Kotwali police station in Dinajpur.
The arrested persons and the seized Phensedyl bottles were handed over to Dinajpur Kotwali police station after filing a case in this connection for further legal action, the release added.
