Two people were killed and five others injured in
two separate road accidents on Pabna-Nagarbari Highway in Shahjadpur upazila of the
district today.
The deceased were identified as Nargis Khatun, 35, hailed from Tatiarkanda area and
Arshad Pramanik, 60, a resident in Shelachapri area in the upazila.
Officer-in-Charge of Hatikumrul Thana MA Wadud said Nargis died as a truck hit an
auto van in Jugnidaho area.
Besides, Arshad Pramaik died in a multi vehicle collision among a truck, an auto
rickshaw and a motorcycle in Baghabari area on the highway. Five others were
injured in the accident.
