Dhaka:A directive has been issued for 180 officials from the Directorate of Primary Education to carry out inspections in various upazilas nationwide. These inspections aim to review and observe primary education activities at the field level.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, this decision was made during the directorate's monthly coordination meeting in August, and an office order was released on September 28, detailing the officials and their assigned upazilas.

The officials are instructed to complete their inspections and submit reports by November 5. Senior officials, including the director general, additional director general, and directors, have the authority to inspect any upazila.

A list has been prepared to assign officials from different divisions to specific upazilas, covering districts such as Joypurhat, Bogura, Naogaon, Rajshahi, Chapainawabganj, Natore, Sirajganj, Pabna, Kushtia, Meherpur, Chuadanga, and Jhenaidah.

Officials must obtain prior permission from divisional directors before leaving their duty stations. Directors will approve field-level inspections on a rotational basis.

The order specifies that officials from the Stipend Division must visit the Primary Education Office of their assigned upazila and three government primary schools, selected randomly, with one in an urban area and two in rural areas. They are required to stay on-site for two days.

Officials from other divisions are to visit two government primary schools, selecting one urban and one rural school through random sampling, and stay on-site for one day.

After completing their inspections, officials must prepare a detailed report using a prescribed format and submit it to the Stipend Division within five working days.
