18.3% Growth in Remittance Inflow Observed Till December 10

Dhaka: Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year growth of 18.3 percent reaching US$1290 million in the 10 days of December, according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued today. Last year, during the same period, the country’s remittance inflow was $1091 million.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during the period from July to December 10, 2025, of the current fiscal year, expatriates sent remittances totaling $14,329 million. This amount was $12,228 million during the same period of the previous fiscal year.
