Dhaka: In the nationwide ongoing operation to uphold law and order, 1744 more were arrested across the country in the last 24 hours.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, 1130 of them were arrested in previous cases and pending warrants while the remaining 614 were detained on various criminal charges.
One foreign-made pistol, one revolver, three pistols, one local shooter gun, three local LGs, three magazines, and 38 rounds of bullets were seized during the countrywide operation.
