Dhaka: In a series of nationwide special operations, 1662 more individuals were arrested in the last 24 hours. Assistant Inspector General (Media and Public Relations) of Police, Police Headquarters Inamul Haque Sagor disclosed the information to BSS here today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, of the arrestees, 1058 were apprehended in connection with previous cases and outstanding warrants, while 604 individuals were detained on different criminal charges. Sagor mentioned that during the operations, one LG gun was recovered.
He further stated that the special operations will be continued.
