Mohammadpur: In a day-long special operation, Mohammadpur Police arrested 15 individuals allegedly involved in various crimes across different areas under Mohammadpur Police Station in the capital.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the special drive was conducted throughout Sunday targeting individuals wanted in regular cases and those with active warrants. The detainees are: Asmat (50), Zahid Hasan Munna (20), Jisan Shanto (23), Shahinur Yanur Shanu (45), Runa Shilpi (38), Hasan Baro Hasan (35), Jewel Bullet (30), Badan Farazi (20), Sujan (27), Zayed Bin Iqbal (45), Akhtaruzzaman (43), Jewel (23), Ferdous Barek (25), Abu Sayeed (29), and Mirza Adnan (37). Police recovered 51 pieces of Yaba tablets during the operation.
Police officials stated that such operations will continue regularly to strengthen the law and order situation in the area.
