A total of 145 dengue patients were hospitalized at various hospitals in Chattogram in the last 24 hours.
The dengue control room of the district civil surgeon's office said this afternoon that a total of 145 dengue patients were hospitalized at various hospitals in Chattogram today.
Of the total 145 patients, 88 were admitted in government hospitals and 57 in private hospitals.
Civil Surgeon Dr Mohammad Iliyas Chowdhury said a total of 6,006 dengue patients have been detected in Chattogram in the last eight months till September 2 this year and the number of deaths has reached 53 in Chattogram this year.
Of them 3528 dengue patients admitted to government hospitals and 2,488 have received treatment in private hospitals.
A total of 5777 dengue patients have recovered and returned to their respective residence and 283 undergoing treatment in the different hospital in the city and district, the sources added.
