Dhaka: In the nationwide ongoing operation, 1353 more crime suspects were arrested in the last 24 hours.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, 880 of them were arrested in previous cases and pending warrants, while 473 others were on various criminal charges.
During the operation, authorities seized two foreign pistols, one pipe gun, 12 rounds of bullets, two magazines, 12 bore lead balls, 16 knives, and several sharp weapons. The arrests and seizures are part of a concerted effort to clamp down on criminal activities across the country.
