The chief executive officer of the Bangladesh Rugby Federation Union Nazmus Shakib has been elected development committee member of Asia Rugby.
He was picked as the youngest member of the 10-member development committee of Asia Rugby, the governing body of rugby union in the region under the authority of World Rugby.
The committee, with a tenure of four years from January 2021 to December 2024, will be responsible for the development of the game in 32 Asian countries.
