Monash University Foundation Year Orientation programme held

“Monash University Foundation Year Orientation,” a programme organised by the Universal College Bangladesh (UCB), the exclusive partner of Monash College, Australia in Bangladesh, was held recently.

The programme, held on September 1 and 2 on a virtual platform, marked the commencement of the inaugural batch under the UCB. This is the first time in the history of Bangladesh that an international education provider has started its official batch, according to a media statement.

UCB CEO Dr Sandeep Ananthanarayanan, Professor Sarwar Ahmed, dean of academic affairs; Aaron Tan, manager of international recruitment and development at the Monash University Malaysia; Alphonsa Pakiam, head of Asia and Africa of the Monash University’s admission and communication, and other guests delivered insightful speeches during the event.

“I congratulate all the bright, young students who are present here today for embarking on their new journey to Monash at Universal College Bangladesh. I believe this will be a very exhilarating experience for them as this path will help them reach their desired goal in life. It is a very exciting and proud moment for all of us that we have come this far,” said Dr Sandeep.

The UCB is the only education ministry-approved international education provider in Bangladesh.
