Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee has extended thanks and gratitude to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for sending her juicy summer mangoes.
“I’m very delighted to receive the mangoes you sent,” Mamata said in a letter sent to Sheikh Hasina on Thursday.
“I respect your affection and the fragrance of Bangladesh, which came through the mangoes. I’m truly impressed,” Mamata said in the letter, according toPM’s Assistant Press Secretary MM Emrul Kayas.
Sheikh Hasina sent 2,600kg Haribhanga mangoes, a sweet and juicy variety, as a gift for her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and several other leaders.
