Prof HNM Ershadullah of Al-Quran and Islamic Studies department has been appointed the new dean of the Theology and Islamic Studies faculty of Islamic University in Kushtia.
IU vice-chancellor Prof Shaikh Abdus Salam appointed Prof Ershadullah to the post as the tenure of his predecessor, Prof Muhammad Solaiman, came to an end, the university said in a statement.
Prof Ershadullah will hold the post for the next two years. “I will work for the betterment of the faculty with the assistance of teachers and students of the university,” he said.
