Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) has won the silver award at the 8th ICSB National Award for Corporate Governance Excellence 2020 under the Islamic operation category.
Mohammed Monirul Moula, managing director and CEO of the bank, received the award from Shibli Rubayat-Ul-Islam Islam, chairman of the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission, during a programme at a city hotel Sunday.
Muzaffar Ahmed, president of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB), Itrat Hussain, chairman of the ICSB corporate governance committee, and JQM Habibullah, deputy managing director and company secretary of IBBL, were also present.
