Zidan Miah has become the first Bangladesh-origin British footballer to sign for a Spanish La Liga club, Rayo Vallecano.

London- born 21-year-old Zidan Miah from a native of Moulvibazar district, had to go through a two-month-long trial process initially to get selected for the newly promoted La Liga team, Rayo Vallecano.

Zidan started his footballing journey in the David Beckham Academy and also played for English Club Bromley FC U-23 team.

His brilliant performances enabled him to get a scholarship in Michael Johnson’s Performance Centre and he subsequently moved to the US where he played for Columbus Crew U-14 and FC Dallas.
