Three touchstone idols worth Tk 66 lakh have been recovered from separate places in Thakugaon.
Tipped off, a patrol team of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) conducted a drive and recovered a touchstone idol and a pot from Dhantala in Baliadangi upazila around 11:15 pm on Saturday, said Md. Raj Mamud, Assistant Director of Thakurgaon 50 BGB.
Besides, another BGB patrol team recovered two abandoned touchstone idols weighing about 31 kg each from Akhanagar in Sadar upazila.
However, no one was arrested in this connection, he added.
